Acupuncture Treatment- What to Expect

 
Initial Visit

Your first visit requires about 1.5 hours, during which time you have the opportunity to speak at length about your health concerns. The initial visit is designed to enable you to provide valuable information about your current situation. We will discuss your health and personal histories relevant to your treatment goals and a physical exam will be conducted. You will then receive your first individually tailored acupuncture treatment as well as dietary and lifestyle recommendations.

Cost: $165

Subsequent visits will be 1 hour in length

Follow-up Acupuncture Treatment

Each follow-up will be approximately 1-hour in length and will consist of an individually tailored acupuncture treatment and herbal formulas or supplements when appropriate (additional cost for herbs/supplements).

Cost: $95

Insurance

Your health insurance may cover part or all of an acupuncture treatment. Our office will be happy to provide you with a medical receipt so that you can be reimbursed directly by your insurance carrier.  Please call your insurance administrator for specific questions about your policy.

Reiki Session – What to Expect

Reiki sessions are an hour in length.  You will be fully clothed and lie comfortably on the table. I will gently place my hands on you and at times over you and  will tailor the session to your individual needs. You may experience warmth or light tingling or simply a deep relaxation as Reiki provides balancing at a deep level.

Most people notice a difference after the first treatment, and the benefits grow with repeated sessions.  I suggest you schedule a series of four weekly Reiki sessions to best evaluate the impact Reiki has on your healing.

 

Cost:      $95 per session

($360 for a package of four sessions- payment required at first session)

Insurance – Most insurance companies do not yet cover Reiki but a few do.  Please call your insurance administrator for specific questions about your policy.
