Treating Children with Acupuncture


Our office treats many children, ranging in age from infants to college age.  Acupuncture has proven to be an effective tool for health and wellness in children and very often they only need a few treatments.  While many children do not feel the needles at all, other modalities (acupressure, electrical stimulation, cupping, pediatric herbal formulas, etc.) can be used for children that are fearful of needles. Parents are surprised to observe that children look forward to the treatments.
